Education:

MSc. 2009, Phytopathology, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Advisor: Dr. Jelica Balaz. Thesis: Monitoring of Infection Intensity and Development of Specific Symptom Types in Apple Fire Blight.

BSc. 2005, Plant Protection, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Advisor: Dr. Goran Delibasic. Thesis: Eutypa Dieback Appearance in Some Grapevine Growing Regions in Serbia.

Current Project:

Trunk injection approach and technology for disease and insect control in fruit trees. Projects encompass applied and fundamental aspects of fruit tree trunk injection with conventional and alternative plant protective compounds. The research foci are protective compound distribution properties in apple tree crown after trunk injection and control of apple scab (Venturia inaequalis) and fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) with trunk injected SAR inducers and fungicides.

Research Interests:

Chemical, alternative and molecular fruit tree disease management, SAR inducers, trunk injection and innovative plant protection technology application in fruit tree industry, biology and genetics of plant pathogens, apple scab, fire blight.
