Brad Day, associate professor and department chair for research in MSU’s Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences interviewed recently by Michigan State University President Lou Anna K. Simon and Spartans Athletic Director Mark Hollis on MSU Today.   Day and his lab are unlocking the secrets of plant disease defenses, drought and adverse climate survivability.    The Growth Chamber Facility at MSU allows for the replication of growing and climate conditions anywhere in the world.    In a world with a burgeoning population, expected to be 9 billion by 2050, we will have to increase agricultural production with the same amount of land.     Listen to the Podcast.   See the original posting.
